Come join a dedicated team of Data Center Engineering Program Managers! As a Data Center EPM, you will be responsible for driving the planning and execution of early prototype vehicles to support critical validation focusing on silicon reliability and software development. Our team is looking for someone who can drive the board design convergence and release schedules, lead complex hardware builds down to the details, and handle the resolution of technical build blockers by working with cross-functional teams.Description:In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of prototype builds. You will need to collaborate closely with architecture and engineering teams to define hardware definitions based on validation goals and support the overall project plan for builds globally. You will drive development timelines for new boards and flexes, lead the internal review process and release to vendors, and be the primary point of contact for our contract manufacturers and worldwide team members.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree3+ years of project management or relevant experienceExceptional ability to build relationships, build cross-functional teams and exert effective influence in a matrix organization.Excellent written and oral communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Proven track record in hardware engineering or operations program management with experience in effectively handling factory builds and working with vendorsExperience interfacing with Mechanical and Electrical Engineering teamsExcellent communication, presentation skills and the ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audienceOutstanding attention to detail and ability to handle complex build matrices and microschedulesProactive and highly self-motivated; good critical thinking capabilitiesAbility to operate well in an environment with rapid development cycles and constant changeApple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
