is a shared services organization that supports all of UW Medicine. UW Medicine is comprised of Harborview Medical Center (HMC), UW Medical Center-Montlake Campus (UWMC-Montlake), UW Medical Center-Northwest Campus (UWMC-NW), Valley Medical Center (VMC), UW Medicine Primary Care (UWMPC), UW Physicians (UWP), UW School of Medicine (SOM), and Airlift Northwest (ALNW). ITS is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the infrastructure and applications which support all these institutions, along with the implementation of new services and applications that are used to support and further the UW Medicine mission.POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

Planning, directing, and coordinating a data warehouse and Cogito Reporting Solutions to support Harborview Medical Center, UW Medicine Montlake Campus, UW Physicians, and multiple affiliate organizationsIdentifying business and technical impacts of user requirements and creates ad hoc reports and assists with creation of other data outputs to support the clinical and business needs for the enterpriseWorking with the Epic Cogito Team, Analytics Team members, Epic Applications’ teams, Clinical Informatics, and internal UW Medicine customers to provide a service oriented, cross-functional, knowledgeable, single point of technical leadership to support Epic Cogito data and reporting needs across UW MedicineREQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Health Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Health or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience4+ years’ experience must include the following:Currently holds 2 or more current Epic certifications OR has obtained Epic proficiency and has consistently demonstrated technical competencies for 3+ years in relevant functional/business area4+ years of recent healthcare or IT experienceAdvanced experience with BI reporting toolsStrong experience with SQL3+ years’ experience with Epic Cogito reporting tools (SlicerDicer, SQL Metrics, Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards)Advanced experience working through the complete report development lifecycle for small to medium scale projects, including leading requirements gathering and documentationAdvanced understanding of BI reporting best practices.3+ years’ experience performing progressively more complex and responsible Business Analysis and Project Management tasks, including the ability to lead a project with a duration longer than 3-months, and a level of effort estimated at
