$45 to $55 per hourIntroduction:Rivet Operations Company (“Rivet”) has an opening for a C5I Training and Readiness Analyst to join our rapidly growing team in the San Diego, CA area. This position will be in support of the Command Naval Air Forces U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNAP) providing IT Support Services. Rivet is an exceptional industry partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and a leader in cyber security, IT management, logistics, supply chain management, process improvement and development.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:Manage and coordinate training requirements on the web-based Fleet Training Management Planning System (FLTMPS).Coordinate Fleet stakeholder review of Navy Training System Plans (NTSP) for Combat Systems training for all related C5I Systems.Support and assist in the integration of warfighting systems within I MEF to support operations and exercise objectives to include but not limited to ensuring network firewalls and virtual local area networks (VLAN) are established to enable C2 systems functionality on garrison and tactical domains.Serve as a technical authority for C5I training. Provide advice and guidance throughout the organization regarding training matters.Respond to Fleet questions and provide guidance on issues concerning Ready Relevant Learning. Review future development in C5I systems and make recommendations to support the replacement of obsolete systems.Prepare and present briefings and presentations to O-6 level audiences. Lead and participate as a technical expert in interagency study groups to resolve problems in existing systems and programs that require innovative solutions.Represent CNAF at meetings and conferences affecting C5I training support for new systems.Monitor, draft, readdress and submit Naval messages utilizing NIWC C2 Official Information eXchange (C2OIX) web portal impacting Fleet C5I training and readiness.Develop and assess operational metrics, analyze feedback, and recommend the integration and employment of new technologies.Open-minded, leans forward, and does not hesitate to reach out to others for help.Passionate about technology and excited about learning new systems.Compensation Minimum:
$93,600Compensation Maximum:
$114,400JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)Must be a U.S. Citizen and obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the position.Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and Adobe Acrobat Professional.Familiarity working with various government and DoD systems and databases.Possess the requisite certification per DoDD 8140.01, CompTIA Security+ preferred.Have 4+ years’ experience commissioned or staff non-commissioned officer military experience. Equivalent commissioned experience at a sister service Operational Planning level is acceptable.Have familiarity of staff processes and battle drills at a higher headquarters level. Equivalent commissioned experience at a sister service Operational Planning level is acceptable.Be knowledgeable in the integration of Intelligence, Maneuver, Fires, Logistics and Collaborative Systems.Have 4+ years of IT project management experience.Hold an Industry-recognized project management certification.Physical Requirements:Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.
