$37 to 41 per hour DOEIntroduction:Rivet Operations Company (“Rivet”) has an opening for a Computer Support Specialist. This position will be in support of the Command Naval Air Forces U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNAP) providing IT Support Services. Rivet is an exceptional industry partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and a leader in cyber security, IT management, logistics, supply chain management, process improvement and development.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:Monitor, maintain, and optimize operating systems, applications, and vendor specific software supporting the servers and/or peripheral equipment.Providing support for the enterprise Exchange/email in the cloud-based infrastructure.Maintain system accounts, perform account, and access management for servers and specified applications and databases. Activities include, but not limited to, creation of accounts, issuance of passwords, and resetting locked user accounts.Activate, deactivate, stop, and start services, reboot servers, identify and correct system problems, recover system files when necessary, and perform monitoring and tuning of the servers and services.Provide troubleshooting support for incidents and document troubleshooting and resolutions in an automated tool.Identify, evaluate, document, install, and configure hardware and software to meet user needs ensuring all services, (e.g., Data-at-Rest (DaR), collaboration services, and file storage) are available as required and in accordance with Change and Configuration Management policies and procedures.Maintain and support all M365/O365 (G5) features/functions including, but not limited to, the enablement of the application suites (Power BI Pro, Power Apps, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Planner and Whiteboard, etc.).Fault management and analysis, configuration control, and automated performance monitoring on applicable services, servers, and devices.Open-minded, leans forward, and does not hesitate to reach out to others for help.Passionate about technology and excited about learning new systems.Compensation Minimum:

$85,280JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related technical field.In lieu of bachelor’s degree the following certification will be accepted: CISSP, CISM, CASP, and SEC+.Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the position.Possess a Microsoft 365 Certified Solutions certification.5 years of IT experience working with RDT&E, Business IT systems and the phases of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process.Experience working with Navy C&A efforts as a Navy Validator.Expert Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations including, Risk Management Framework, policies and other regulatory and compliance procedures.Solid knowledge base of DoD cybersecurity tools including Host Based Security System (HBSS), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Tool, Nessus, Vulnerability Remediation Access Management (VRAM) Tool, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS).Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, and Group Policies.Experience working with databases and database management systems including DADMS / DITPR-DON, eMASS and NAV-IDAS.Physical Requirements:Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.
