Job Description:
A leading full-service law firm is seeking an experienced Estate and Tax Planning Attorney to join its team. The firm assists clients in all aspects of estate planning, probate, and tax strategy, including drafting wills, trusts, and advising on estate and gift tax implications. Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel on estate planning matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies for estate and gift planning.
Handle estate and trust administration, including probate matters.
Collaborate with clients to develop personalized estate plans that address complex tax and wealth preservation issues.
Stay current on changes to estate and tax law to provide clients with up-to-date advice.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school in Alabama.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning and tax law.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of federal and state estate and tax law.
Experience in drafting and administering estate plans and tax-efficient trusts.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
