Job Summary

Responsible for managing the communications and admission process as it relates to Global First Year programs. Manages a caseload of applicants, tracks and supports progress throughout admissions pipeline (from application to enrollment), communicates with students about pending documents and admissions requirements. Manages a special population with Admissions Operations; supports and advises process improvements regarding said population.Responsible for managing a multi-term caseload of Global First Year undergraduate applicants: Freshman and Transfer. Supports incoming students by providing information pertaining to the admissions process and requirements (from application to enrollment). Adheres to Board of Governors Admissions regulations as well as Institution-specific requirements.Provides evaluation support with Global First Year applicants with foreign credentials. In addition, assists with all admission related matters such as CRM support and student case support management for domestic and international students within the admission and enrollment processes.Makes admissions decisions based on the review and evaluation of transcripts high school, postsecondary, test scores, and other enrollment related documentation. Updates student record, using Student Info System (PeopleSoft), accordingly.Assists with record maintenance, confirms validity of documents, and conducts research of student information for admissions purposes. Engages in detail review of student files to ensure consistency and accuracy of admissions decisionsInitiates varied communication to students regarding their admissions file according to established deadlines such as term closure and individual dept closures.Collaborates with internal and external staff to support University and departmental goals. Supports AO leadership with the review and implementation of system and/or process-based projects.Serves as lead admissions evaluator for university-wide Global First Year programs and communications. Collaborates with Global First Year to develop best practices and guidelines related to that student population.Serves as primary contact for Global First Year admission operations training needs. Makes recommendations for process improvement and transparency. May be called to serve on committees as it relates to Global First Year.Serves as Global First Year liaison provides updates and support and communication throughout integrating and clearly communicating between both operations to ensure a seamless support and academic success model. This partnership is based on the clear understanding of CRM operations and caseload management on both Global First Year and EMS.Performs other related duties as required or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience.

Knowledge and/or experience with PeopleSoft.2 years of Higher Education experience
