General Manager

Summary:The General Manager will be running a location, gaining new commercial clients, and overseeing roof service crews for our Roofing Service Division. This position demands superior organizational skills and knowledge of commercial roofing systems, demonstrated experience in commercial roofing, managing, sales and customer communication.

Essential Functions:

Obtain profit contribution by establishing plans, budgets and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress, making timely mid course corrections.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field and technical services policies and practices.

Represents the company in sales negotiations and service presentations.

Builds company image by collaborating with customers, general contractors, official entities and employees enforcing ethical business practices.

Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing company standards.

Manages and coordinates field and office staff activities, provides direction as needed.

Conducts employee evaluations and ensures proper training.

Coordinates job schedules, equipment and material delivery.

Ensures project documentation is accurate and reviews contracts.

Keep permanent communication with corporate office.

Manages and supervises all production activities.

Prepares required reports and attends meetings.

Solves problems.

Others as required by management and or business necessities.

Qualifications:

Solid background in project management, supervision and roofing administration.

At least 10 years of experience in Commercial Roofing Systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, AND SHEET METAL.

Ability to read and understand blue prints

Ability to identify issues early and work to develop solutions before they impact the project.

Excellent communication, leadership, math, cost control skills.

Ability to safely climb a ladder

Training and Certification:

30 HOUR OSHA, First Aid and CPR, Personal Protective Equipment, Respirator, Driver’s License in good standing
