Data Center Storage Engineer
to provide Storage Engineering services. Responsibilities include:Perform storage engineering design for periodic data center, storage, and remote site server hardware refreshesRecommend hardware solutions compatible with existing Storage technologiesDocument data center physical hardware designs including row, rack, bay, interconnections, power, network, storage, serial numbers, lifecycle, and supporting service informationCreate and document requisite storage configuration settingsDesign and engineer a long-term storage solution to meet records management requirementsDeliver service catalog items for automatically provisioning storage to deliver Infrastructure-as-CodeQualifications
Required:BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of BS can be consideredTS/SCI clearance is requiredExperience in Storage engineering and integration for both physical and virtual infrastructure hostingMust have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE)Desired:Professional-level Storage certification desiredITIL Foundations certification desiredBenefits
