Vault and Chambers Ranked, highly prestigious boutique firm Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned CEQA/NEPA Environmental Law Partner to lead and grow our environmental practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CEQA/NEPA compliance and/or litigation, with a proven ability to manage large-scale projects and build client relationships. A portable book of business of at least $500,000 is required. As a partner, you will oversee high-stakes cases, mentor junior attorneys, and contribute to the firm’s strategic growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead CEQA/NEPA compliance and/or litigation projects, including reviewing EIRs, EISs, and other environmental documents. Provide strategic legal counsel on environmental regulations, land-use planning, and permitting. Manage litigation related to CEQA and NEPA in administrative, state, and federal courts. Develop and expand client relationships, particularly with public agencies and developers. Mentor junior attorneys and play a key role in firm leadership. Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school, with active California State Bar membership. 10+ years of experience in CEQA/NEPA compliance and litigation. Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage high-stakes cases. Portable book of business with a minimum value of $500,000. Strong client development skills and leadership abilities. Compensation: Competitive partnership compensation package with benefits, and professional growth opportunities.
