This is not a remote position.Duties and Responsibilities**Provides administrative and fiscal support for the UH Center for Indigenous Innovation and Health Equity (CIIHE).**Assists in the preparation, review, and reconciliation of fiscal/administrative documents, including but not limited to, contracts, MOUs, RFPs, quotes, travel, and invoice processing.**Assists in the collection and analysis of fiscal, budget, and program data and prepares reports for management that inform the status of projects and spending.**Completes reports for organizational sponsors and supports with preparation of materials for grant submissions.**Assists in advising management, staff, and community partners on applicable University and RCUH policies and procedures. Provides additional assistance to community partners, as needed.**Assists with the planning and coordination of meetings, events, and projects.**Assists with drafting and reviewing memos, reports, correspondence, etc.**Ensures proper organization, retention and storage of pertinent records (e.g. establishing, maintaining and updating eFiles and archives).**Monitors and maintains UH CIIHE data management systems.Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsPossession of a baccalaureate degree in Business Administration or related field and one year of progressively responsible professional experience with responsibilities related to fiscal, administrative, grants, and/or program management; or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.Functional knowledge of principles, practices and techniques in the area of financial/business administration demonstrated by knowledge, understanding and ability to apply concepts, terminology.Functional knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and systems associated with financial/business administration.Demonstrated ability to recognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve the full range problems that may commonly occur in the financial/business administration field of work.Demonstrated ability to understand oral and written documentation, write reports and procedures, and communicate effectively in a variety of situations.Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members and individuals.Demonstrated ability to operate a personal computer and apply word processing software.Desirable QualificationsExperience working with Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities and/or community organizations.Prior experience with post-award administration of federal and/or state contracts and grants.Knowledge of UH and RCUH procurement and personnel procedures and policies.To Apply:Click on the "Apply" button on the top right corner of the screen to complete an application and upload required documents.
