STV currently has openings for Rodway Design Project Manager in the Transportation group in Boston.
STV Boston is seeking a Roadway Design Project Manager to join the Team.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage highway projects from planning through design and into construction.
Lead project team meetings and report up to STV executive management regarding status.
Provide guidance and oversight to technical engineering staff ranging from junior to senior level.
Work closely with other project managers and group leads to plan resources and manage internal workshare.
Assist in developing client capture plans and pursuit win plans, proposals, and other business development and client engagement activities.
Participate in interviews and presentations to the client for pursuits and projects.
Develop and enhance client relationships and deliver quality projects on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client.
Manage all project aspects; scope development, qualifications and proposals, presentations, contract negotiations, design scope, budget, scheduling, staff management and coordinating work efforts, cost estimating, bidding support, construction administration, cost control, project communications and documentation, and cash management.
Administer relevant aspects of a formal quality program.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Civil Engineering is required, Master’s degree a plus.
A Professional Engineer license in MA, or ability to obtain.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing and designing highway improvements and transportation infrastructure projects.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to perform project management responsibilities, working independently and in coordination with other team members and Project Managers.
Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple clients at varying stages of design/construction completion.
Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Open Roads Designer experience.
Familiarity with AASHTO design standards.
Municipal or MassDOT experience required.
Design Build project experience a plus.
Compensation Range: $114,960.00 - $153,281.00
