Physical Security Support SpecialistThis position requires an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.The Physical Security Support Specialist will assist with ensuring Treasury collateral and Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facilities (SCIF) spaces operate in accordance with all applicable regulations, policies and procedures regarding access control and proper day-to-day handling of classified sensitive material in support of the Department of the TreasuryThis position requires an active

clearance.Compensation & Benefits:Estimated Starting Salary Range for
Facility Security Specialist : $95,000 to $115,000Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.Facility Security Specialist Responsibilities Include:Execute Physical Security duties, to include review of facility blueprints and operation of security and access control systems; courier TS/SCI materials; ensure proper destruction of TS/SCI material; review and update SOPs and SCIF operations documentation; conduct inspections to ensure SCIF residents and Treasury personnel adhere to security requirements.Ensure SIC is properly controlled, transmitted, destroyed, packaged, safeguarded and (where appropriate) brought under accountability in accordance with ICD 705Assist with security investigations to include data spills and other security violationsPrepare courier packages for classified material being transported by authorized couriers and maintains logs; coordinate issuance of courier and SCIF access badges as requiredParticipate in investigations of reported security violations and suspected or actual compromises of classified information; conduct interviews; prepare reports and implement corrective actionsAdminister the receipt, control, and accountability of SCI by conducting periodic facility inspections at different phases of construction to ensure construction methods comply with ICD 705, Intelligence Community Standard (ICS) 705-1 and 705-2, for construction, accreditation, and technical requirements for SCIFs; support delivery of services for SCIFs and perform the day-to-day SCI security oversight functions for the Special Security Office (SSO) and subordinate SCIFsRecommend methods to enhance efficiency of security systems through modifications and applications of evolving technologyCreate and issue badges for Treasury personnel for access to Treasury SCIFs, utilizing the Treasury SCIF access control systemAssist OSP with administrative duties, which will include processing, filing, shredding, and scanning of classified and unclassified documentsAssist with developing Treasury policies and procedures to ensure SCIF operations, handling and couriering SCI materials, and the destruction of classified SCI materials are implementedAssist with escort support for non-cleared personnel visiting or working in proximity of Treasury SCIFsDraft construction security plans (CSP), in coordination with the program office, that include all actions required to document the project from start to finishConduct periodic security inspections for the duration of the projects to ensure compliance with the CSP, document security violations or deviations from the CSPEnsure that procedures to control site access are implementedFacility Security Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:Bachelor’s Degree desiredA minimum of 3 years of experience providing Physical Security supportPossess strong customer service and expertise of personnel security administration support, to include but not limited to, applicable manuals, regulations, policies, and instructions; OPM clearance proceduresMust have knowledge and experience of regulations governing Federal personnel and physical security programs, to include 5 CFR 731, 5 CFR 732, E.O. 12968, E.O. 13467, E.O. 13764, 32 CFR 2001, 32 CFR 2003, and ICD/ICS 700 Series National PolicyMust have an active TS/SCI ClearanceOPM databases: CVS, PIPS, NP2OPM Essentials of Suitability AdjudicationDesired: Personnel Security Adjudication certifications (ex: DoD, ODNI)Desired: Due Process Adjudication certifications (ex: DoD, CDSE, ODNI)Desired: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)Possess integrated security services skill sets in the following areas:
