Job Summary:
The Risk IT team is responsible for designing, building, testing, releasing and maintaining Middle Office Market and Credit Risk systems. An in-house .NET, SQL server, Control M and Python based application layer integrates S&P’s FraimWRX engine and the in-house GV system into MUFG proprietarIT Risky systems to provide cross-asset coverage.
The Risk Change Developers works with business users to deliver functional changes to the Risk system in short periods of time measured in weeks.
Responsibilities:
Strong C# & .Net Core, SQL Server skills
Practical experience of building .Net Core Web API
Practical experience of Azure Data Lake, Docker, TeamCity, Jira, GitHub, Visual Studio
Practical experience of Unit Testing, Integration Testing & development testing skills
Good understanding of microservices architecture
Experience working on large scale applications
Should be very proactive individual who can work independently and own tasks and deliver high quality software
Should be able to take full responsibility of development tasks, testing and debugging issues
Should be very organized, disciplined and have a structured working approach
Can work under pressure and tight deadlines
Should be capable of planning, managing and mentoring junior developers
Should be capable of writing high quality Technical Scope documents and Test Plans
Good English language speaking and writing skills
Required Qualifications:
Large scale software project development in C# with the Microsoft development stack.
Microsoft SQL Server.
Control M.
Design methodologies and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
GIT/Team City.
Unit and Integration testing.
Full SDLC experience.
Planning and prioritization skills.
Continuous integration.
Experience of working in an investment banking technology environment.
Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in the following:
Front Office/Middle Office Investment banking experience.
Experience of Market Risk reporting (e.g. VaR)
Experience of Credit Risk reporting (e.g. PFE)
Education:
Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related discipline
Other Qualifications:
As per MUFG’s work policy for all personnel, candidates must work onsite 4 days and 1 day remotely out of 1251 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY office.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $106K - $132K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
