Position Overview:
This position supports the United States Coast Guard as a Senior Logistics Manager supporting the Business and Logistics Management Support Services office. The Senior Logistics Manager will serve as the Team Lead, maximizing the capabilities of each individual team member to meet requirements. This role acts as the primary liaison between the Government and the Contractor, ensuring all tasks are prioritized, completed on time, and of the highest quality.
Position is Contingent Upon Contract Award

Position Responsibilities:
Serve as Team Lead for task organizing and manage the team to maximize capabilities.
Act as the primary liaison between the Government and the Contractor.
Ensure all tasks are prioritized and completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
Conduct logistical tasks for commercial or government organizations, including inventory management, procurement initiation, maintenance scheduling, item repair, and disposal.
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and operations.
Accomplish material coordination responsibilities and make valid material management decisions.
Manage items, coordinate supply/program support, and resolve supply/program support problems.
Perform material management processes including provisioning, transportation, storage, cataloging, maintenance, repair, and disposal.
Requirements:Position Requirements:
Master’s degree in a logistics-related field.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in conducting logistical tasks for commercial or government organizations.
Extensive knowledge and experience of policies, procedures, and techniques related to inventory management.
Expertise in analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and operations.
Comprehensive understanding of Coast Guard supply systems, regulations, policies, and procedures.
In-depth knowledge of the technical features and uses of assigned equipment and their relationship to supply and demand conditions.
Proficiency in material management processes and decision-making.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
Ability to read and interpret government policy, regulations, and directives and apply those interpretations fully and legally to all described activities.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Previous experience working as a Product Line Manager, Contracting Officer Representative, or in a Supply and Logistics billet within the United States Coast Guard.
Veteran Senior Supply (SK) or Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) in Finance and Supply (F&S) with contracting experience are encouraged to apply.
