Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, highly driven Product Manager who is passionate about changing healthcare to own our Enterprise products. Reporting to the VP of Product, you will work cross-functionally to define product requirements and deliver production ready systems that enable Butterfly’s DICOM and EMR integrations, as well as create easy to use workflows for hospital administrators for some of the world’s largest healthcare enterprises. As a Product Manager, you will focus on anticipating customer needs, designing simple, yet functional solutions and assessing tradeoffs for implementation and engineering priorities.
As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:
Defining and executing the product architecture & roadmaps for APIs, enterprise workflows and connectivity integrationsPartner with commercial sales and implementation teams to provide expert level sales & solution engineering supportDrive detailed roadmaps of EMR and DICOM connectivity within the context of the Butterfly ecosystem, and own the end-to-end life cycle of conception through customer implementation.Partner with engineering to work through implementation details, spec reviews, design reviews and ensure the on time delivery of features.Provides senior escalation support for DICOM, HL7, FHIR, and system integration issues.Ensure that a coherent product strategy around the Butterfly Compass enterprise software is developed and communicated. This includes deriving and prioritizing jobs to be done and user needs for the product(s) (and using extensive consumer research and analysis to drive this), evangelizing a product strategy & visionResearch the competitive landscape and translate requirements into a well-defined strategy and product roadmap.Engage a core group of stakeholders, both internal and external, to inform, validate and shape the connectivity roadmap.Work closely with Butterfly internal teams to identify future product needs while continually improving the efficiency and delivery of complex features.Align with commercial stakeholders to ensure that the product offerings meet revenue targets.Write detailed technical specifications and ensure feature works to spec.Perform a broad variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:
Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree preferred.7+ years of relevant experience in Software Product Management focusing on building medical information systems such as: RIS, PACS, HIS or EMR solutions.Expert knowledge of interoperability between medical devices and healthcare IT.Understanding of clinical workflow in a medical imaging environment.Familiarity with DICOM, HL7, PACS, VNA, RIS, EMR, and Medical Imaging Devices.Natural ability to make things happen around you. You manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way. Be able to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of productsExperience leading product strategy and building medical software, in high growth, innovative environmentsExperience with agile developmentExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skillsProven leadership capabilities including strategy development, effective decision making, and the ability to drive resultsSelf-motivated, self-directed, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to translate and articulate complicated business problems into easily understood solutions and functional requirementsAbility to work cross-functionally with a distributed team across Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Marketing and SalesAbility to work cohesively and effectively in a team environment with employees from all levels within an organization required.
Location
At Butterfly we offer a hybrid work environment. For most employees, this means part time in the office (two or more days a week). This is a hybrid position and will be based out of our offices in either NYC or Burlington, MA.

Compensation
Our estimated salary for this role is between $190,000 - $215,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and market demand.
