We are seeking an experienced RIS/PACS Administrator to assist with the development and maintenance of the RIS, PACS, and related systems under the direction of the Clinical Systems Manager. Must be comfortable learning new systems, onboarding new imaging centers into those systems, training end users, analyzing problems to pinpoint solutions, assisting in helpdesk or projects as needed. This is a hybrid position. The candidate must reside in or near any of the following areas: Tucson, AZ; New Windsor, NY; Kingston, PA; Allentown, PA Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists in the daily administration of the PACS, RIS, Voice Recognition, and other clinical systems used within the organization. Performs quality control and performance monitoring to ensure that system is fully functional. Ensures high level of data integrity within RIS/PACS. Investigates and helps corrects patient comingled records. Work within Freshdesk to log, track, and resolve trouble tickets. Maintain up-to-date and thorough documentation of each issue, ensuring accurate record-keeping and clear communication. Ensure tickets are handled efficiently, working to meet response time targets and resolve issues in a timely manner when more complex issues are assigned. Acts as an Applications trainer for radiologists and center staff related to medical imaging initiatives. Development of training programs for RIS/PACS, Voice Recognition, and mammography reporting software. Displays a caring, courteous, respectful and enthusiastic attitude to all, including physicians, technologists, IT leaders, and other groups that interact closely with this position. Communicates effectively and concisely with all members of the healthcare team, verbally and in writing. Exhibits good listening skills. Works closely with the team to complete project tasks as needed and takes ownership of those tasks. Provides support and assistance to end-users via our helpdesk software (e.g. radiology technologists, physicians, and other center staff) Ensures positive customer feedback by delivering high-quality and prompt issue resolution. Communicates throughout the process with the end user to keep them appraised of the process. Coordinates and/or trains radiologists and center staff in the use of RIS/PACS and related systems under the guidance of the Clinical Systems Support Manager. Develops, implements, and maintains PACS/RIS policy and procedures collaboratively with the Clinical Systems Support Manager. Ensures system efficiency, health, and security compliance. Acts as a Subject Material Expert in assigned upgrades and implementations and provides onsite implementation support as needed Learns and trains end-users in our mammography reporting application to better support our women's imaging program Ensures that studies are flowing from modalities to PACS and the mini-PACS at each center Repairs broken and corrupted studies and splits and merges studies. Coordinate implementation and testing of new modalities. Participates in on-call support of PACS and other imaging systems. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, information/computer science, software, or engineering OR Associate's with an additional two (2) years (for a total of 4 years) IT Radiology systems support Minimum Two (2) years' experience in supporting RIS/PACS systems. Broad knowledge in radiology with thorough knowledge of radiology information systems and modalities is required. HL7 functionality, standards, troubleshooting skills. DICOM transfers and modality worklist troubleshooting skills. DICOM Systems experience preferred. Konica Minolta PACS experience desired.
