We are looking for an ambitious and energetic
Business Development, Partnerships
to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with partners.This role is onsite in New York HQ (4-5 days / week) and reports to VP, Partnerships.You will play a role in driving go-to-market (GTM) strategies and overall growth of Aescape as we enter the market and scale our business globally. This is a rare opportunity to be a part of a 0-to-1 company and spearhead a net-new product launch. The right candidate will know how to define success and measure it.Candidates should possess experience in technology and the effective communication of tech-related products and innovations. We particularly encourage those with backgrounds in Hospitality, Wellness, Sports, and Fitness to apply.Aescape is the NY-based lifestyle robotics company redefining self-care.We announced the world's first commercially available, fully automated AI-powered massage experience with Equinox in March — and this is only the beginning. We are in a period of rapid growth, launching our category-transforming product throughout 2024 with global leaders in hospitality, wellness, sports and fitness.Backed by $80M in funding from investors like Valor Equity Partners (an early investor in Tesla and SpaceX), we've assembled a team of top talent across connected hardware and fitness from industry giants like Amazon, Apple, Peloton, Tonal, Uber, The New York Knicks, and more to bring people and robotics together for better living.What You’ll Do
As a
Business Development, Partnerships at Aescape , you will have valuable input on existing and future brand-building opportunities, playing a crucial role in the early stages of a future household name. In this role, you will:Develop an outbound/inbound strategy focused both on financial gain and partner satisfaction.
Conduct research to identify new markets and partner needs.
Sales operations.
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for the
Business Development, Partnerships
role should have:Proven working 3+ years of experience in sales (BDR or AE) or a relevant role.
Ability to build an inbound and outbound sales process + campaign.
Proven sales track record.
Experience in customer support is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Hubspot).
Market knowledge.
Communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to build rapport.
Time management and planning skills.
