Broker III- Middle Market Practice

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for prospective and current clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting commercial risk. As a Broker III you will report directly to the Regional Broking Leader. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtual and from the local office three days a week in San Francisco, CA.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.What the day will look likePerform the services of an Insurance Broker for Property, Casualty, Worker’s Compensation, Commercial Auto, Umbrella, Excess, and Foreign Package policies.Advise and execute on the placement of new and renewal P&C programs including crafting submissions.Executing placements within required timeframes and servicing those placements including their renewals.Analyze and review insurance programs for clients to determine optimum program including pricing, terms and conditions for both new and renewal business.Help with the development of new and innovative solutions for the Middle Market clients/industry.Develop and maintain strong relationships with the carriers and underwriters.Mentor and help develop associate brokers on the team.Work as a team member and collaborate with other colleagues within the Aon team.Knowledge of Benchmarking and Loss Analysis.Skills and experience that will lead to success10+ years of relevant insurance P&C business experience.Proven knowledge of Casualty (Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, General Liability, Umbrella/Excess) and Property coverages.Strong understanding of Middle Market P&C risks and carrier appetites.Broad relationships with the carriers that write Middle Market P&C business.Strong collaboration and communication skills.Outstanding Microsoft Suite and presentation skills.Education:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.How we support our colleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
