The Channel Design Producer role lives within Marcom’s Design team, and plays a critical role in driving the development of creative solutions for more than 300,000 Channel stores and thousands of partners globally.
Description
Channel Design Producers manage the development of static and motion creative work that will live in Channel stores and in partner communications. Producers partner with Designers and Writers to develop best-in-class creative for our product launches, sustain efforts, pilots and programs. This role works closely with a variety of teams within the Marcom group, including Brand, Strategy, other functional creative teams, production teams, leadership teams, and partners across the Design team studio.
THE CHANNEL DESIGN PRODUCER’S DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Working closely with creative teams to develop static and motion solutions that meet Apple’s business needs in Channel.
Aligning with Strategy, Brand and Production partners to create end-to-end timing plans that deliver against the business need.
Driving brief timing, kick-offs, creative shares, creative lock and production hand-offs, making adjustments to timing plans along the way.
Collecting assets and information for the creative team, ensuring they are set-up for success in their explorations.
Scheduling shares, distilling feedback, distributing meeting notes and driving the team toward creative lock.
Sharing creative in development to ensure alignment and feasibility with our Production partners: Print Production, Content, Hardware, Motion Production and Production Design.
Forecasting creative resource needs and actively managing project resources in planning tools; working closely with the Managing Producer and Creative leadership to make recommendations for project-level staffing based on project needs and creatives’ bandwidth.
Supporting the Managing Producer during quarterly planning to capture business asks and resourcing needs in planning tools, attending planning meetings and helping drive comms to cross-functional partners.
Problem-solving obstacles that create inefficiencies and making recommendations for new ways of working.
Minimum Qualifications
9+ years of creative producer, creative operations or project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Well-versed in leading the creative development process with strong project management skills.
Ability to drive workflows, creative shares and schedules across multiple partners and departments.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to get results through projects.
Extremely detail oriented with extraordinary follow-through skills.
Cut through ambiguity to find the right path forward despite haziness or uncertainty.
Approach problems flexibly and with a willingness to adapt in order to arrive at the best solution.
