City Experiences is seeking a Regional Sales Account Manager for our City Cruises operation in Washington, DCAbout You:This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.About the Opportunity:The successful Account Manager will execute the sales plan for their assigned market segment and sub-segments, maximizing revenue generation from that territory.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Sales

Develop comprehensive knowledge of customer and market needs.Execute the sales plan using effective sales techniques.Generate leads primarily through telemarketing and networking.Convert prospects to clients using effective closing techniques.Identify customer needs and prepare winning proposals.Present proposals convincingly over the phone and in person.Successfully up-sell existing clients.Handle objections and solve customer problems.Establish relationships with associations/business organizations.

Guest ServiceEnsure prompt responses to customer inquiries.Communicate complete and accurate product details to the operations team.Work with the Director of Sales to resolve customer issues.Follow up with customers within 24 hours after the cruise.

AdministrativeUse Salesforce (CRM software) to manage activities.Use ANCHOR (reservation software) to book orders.Maintain proper personal organization and accurate records.Work with Sales Assistant to collect payments.

Attend applicable meetings as necessary.Additional job duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years total sales experience, with at least 1 year of outbound telephone sales experience.Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field or equivalent experience.Hospitality experience preferred but not required.Proficient with Microsoft Office products and CRM software.Analytical skills to identify and exploit selling opportunities.Excellent oral communication skills.Proposal writing and effective written communication skills.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.Ability to persuade and influence people.Proven leadership skills.Effective listening and problem-solving skills.About Us:City Experiences’ passion is to provide amazing experiences on land and water.
