We value speed, agility and creativity.SALES DIRECTOR - NORTH AMERICAWhat you’ll be doing:ResponsibilitiesWork hand-in-glove with CCO and Commercial Leadership Team (direct peers: Sales Director - Europe, Head of Go-To-Market and Strategy, Head of Solution Design, Head of Marketing, Partnership Lead, Sales Development Lead) in creating and executing strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer baseAct as the main point of contact and leader of the US market, representing the company's vision, values, and solutions to key stakeholders, customers, and partners.Develop and execute a comprehensive market entry strategy for the US, including market research, competitor analysis, and identification of key prospects focusing on must-win accountsExecute sales strategy to achieve targets and expand our customer base. Build solid pipeline to deliver high closing rate, shorter sales cycles across US marketInitial scope :(NY, Boston-based decision makers) Building up US market pipeline to achieve scale annual recurring revenue ($2M ARR in US market in first 18 months post-launch, in coordination with other sales resources). Opportunistic exploration of ops farther afieldCreate and maintain a robust sales pipeline, actively prospecting and qualifying leads to drive new business opportunities. Work closely with Sales Development Representative to engage new prospects, take ops forward.ID, plan and attend relevant industry events to increase visibility of the company, our value proposition and USPs.Close coordination with marketing to shape US-relevant market message and find tailored channels through which to deliver this message, ensuring it resonates with customers and adapting as needed.Engage in regular reporting and updates to SLT and investors as needed.Feedback to Product teams through regular roadmap reviews to ensure we drive outcomes in a relevant direction.Established scope :Build and lead a high-performing sales team in US, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve sales targets and KPIs within assigned territories and accounts.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships (both as the lead and from behind the scenes).Focus on closing scale ops of over $250KEngage with ESG leaders, C-level decision-makers and other key stakeholders to understand their business needs, present our solutions, and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.Serve as the primary point of contact for US customers, managing the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth.Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.What we need from you:BA/BS degree in a relevant fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in B2B , with a proven track record of success in closing deals and generating revenueProven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targetsAbility to communicate, present and influence all levels of the customer org, including executive and C-level with a strong ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and to position said products against competitionExperience in creating a sales pipeline from scratch and effectively managing the sales process. Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels of an organization.
