About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Assistant Banquet Manager to join our team at Ashland Hills FB, AHRES. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Banquet Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our banquet department. This includes ensuring that all events are executed flawlessly, managing staff, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Assistant Banquet Manager will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.Minimum Qualifications:2+ years of experience in a banquet or event management roleExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related fieldExperience with event planning softwareExperience managing a team of staff membersResponsibilities:Assist the Banquet Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the banquet departmentEnsure that all events are executed flawlessly and to the highest standardsManage staff, including scheduling, training, and performance managementMaintain inventory and order supplies as neededEnsure that all equipment is in good working orderSkills:As the Assistant Banquet Manager, you will use your excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure that all events are executed flawlessly. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in managing staff and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will also use your ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure that all events are staffed appropriately. Additionally, your ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds will be necessary in setting up and breaking down events.
