Job Description Summary

The GE Evendale campus is the headquarters site for GE Aviation. Site activities include large parts manufacturing, engine assembly, and test operations, as well as engineering, development, and lab facilities for both commercial and military customers. The 415-acre site includes 100 acres under roof. Over 6,000 employees work onsite and includes a Union shop represented by the UAW, IAM, and IGUA.

Install, maintain, and repair internal factory equipment. Supervise employees who perform maintenance and tool making. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

Lead the design, engineering and troubleshooting of site projects that can include all disciplines.

Assist in creation and maintaining of Project Management Processes

Lead projects through schematic, design engineering, financials, bidding, construction, and project closeout.

Manage project financials and schedule.

Manage projects using outside vendors and internal unions to execute projects.

Specify needs, communicate about project approach, and present outcomes of research done.

Partner with business leadership and cross-functional teams to develop new solutions to meet business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's s Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Project Management, Construction Management.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in Project Management

Mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment
