Your main task of the data engineering team is to obtain raw data, decide how it should look to be consumable, make it consumable, and validate the data.What You Will DoEnsure data is appropriately cleaned, validated, and stored in databases or data warehouses and develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to transform raw data into a format suitable for analysis.Create data models for efficient retrieval of information and consistent, high-quality data storage and build and maintain data pipelines using Apache Airflow to automate the flow of data across systems.Monitor data systems performance and resolve any issues that arise and provide the stats and implement measures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and implement solutions.Stay updated with the latest technologies in the field, including Azure services, and evaluate their potential use in the organization's data architecture.Document systems, procedures, and workflows for transparency and knowledge sharing within the team and organization.Use Azure services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.Configure and manage Apache Airflow for scheduling and orchestrating data workflows and implement data security measures in Azure and ensure compliance with data regulations.What You Will Need To Have4+ years of experience in Python, Azure, Databricks, Airflow.4+ years of experience with building data pipeline applications using Python and Azure as cloud solution.4+ years of experience with multi-tier architecture applications.4+ years of experience in integrating with APIs.4+ years of experience with high performance and low latency applications.4+ years troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve application issues.4+ years of experience working within an agile development team.Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.What Would Be Great To HaveExperience in Java, Cassandra, PostgreSQL.Experience with Splunk, ADLS.Familiarity with Data Warehouse solutions and APIs.Experience with cloud technologies like Azure.This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New York or Washington.Please note that salary ranges provided for this role on external job boards are salary estimates made by outside parties and may not be accurate.Thank You For Considering Employment With Fiserv.Apply using your legal name.Complete the step-by-step profile and attach your resume (either is acceptable, both are preferable).What You Should Know About UsFiserv is a global leader in payments and financial technology with more than 40,000 associates proudly serving clients in more than 100 countries.
