Manufacturing EngineerJob Summary:The Manufacturing Engineer plays a critical role in optimizing production processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions that drive innovation and enhance operational performance. This position requires a proactive individual who can collaborate across departments to develop and refine production methods while focusing on continuous improvement and cost-effectiveness.Key Responsibilities:Analyze production workflows to identify opportunities for reducing waste and inefficiencies.Conduct research and testing on new design concepts, utilizing lean manufacturing principles and root-cause analysis to support improvements and corrective actions.Develop and test prototypes, monitor performance, and implement necessary modifications to optimize designs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and management to gather insights and ensure alignment on production goals.Estimate production timelines and associated costs to aid management in decision-making processes.Work with various departments to discuss manufacturing capabilities, schedules, and other factors affecting the production process.Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.2-3 years of relevant experience in engineering, with a focus on production or manufacturing.Strong knowledge and application of lean manufacturing techniques.Practical experience in building and evaluating small-scale prototypes.Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with program managers, manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders.Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.Experience with AutoCAD is highly desirable.
