DescriptionThe Pega CSSA should be able to use Pega to design and build for reusability across multiple lines of business. It includes applying best practices, understanding application debugging and performance tuning, and addressing security/access requirements in an application.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for technical oversight and implementation of Pega solutions.Responsible for developing optimal architecture and design for the applications/solutions.Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team to design, develop and optimize business processes across the Pega platform.Assist in requirement analysis and risk mitigation planning throughout sprint iteration/project lifecycle.Oversee and lead the aspects of design, coding, QA, support, integration and implementation of Pega applications.Develop and document reusable design and implementation methodologies, tools and frameworks that can be leveraged across projects.Perform code review for the developed Pega solutions and ensure the coding standards are met.Regularly assess and review system architecture/design for both new and existing applications to ensure the design guidelines and standards are met.Involve in developing custom system integration components based on business requirements.Suggest alternatives to custom solutions to render Pega Out of The Box (OOTB) solutions.Involve in developing UAT and performance testing plans to validate features and functionalities.Play a key role in developing upgrades and enhancements to current Pega applications.Establish governance, technical standards, compliances and best practices for the Pega CoE.Manage and monitor tasks and schedules using tracking tools such as JIRA, Agile Studio, Rational Team Concert, etc.Identify opportunities for automation across processes (such as testing, deployment) and assist in implementing automation wherever possible.Assist in resolving defects detected by the QA team by troubleshooting and/or recommending fixes for defects.Define metrics and communicate the progress and status of the projects to senior leadership.Monitor performance of the Pega environment (including Data layer) using OOTB indicators as well as using custom scripts to ensure healthy and stable environment.Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field required.Pega CSSA certification mandatory.7+ years of experience in designing, building, and implementing Business Process Management (BPM) solutions.7+ years of experience using Pega.Strong experience with complete life cycle of Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) rules configuration, customization, and deployment, preferably in Agile/SCRUM based environment.Knowledge of all phases of SDLC including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business-centric and process-based applications.Strong knowledge of the PRPC Architecture, design and implementation features.Working knowledge on Pega OOTB features.Strong working knowledge in one or more programming languages, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.Experience architecting custom API integrations with Pega.Strong interpersonal skills to effectively guide and mentor junior employees.Excellent relationship management skills to forge relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.Strong working knowledge of relational database design concepts.Proficiency in tracking tools such as JIRA, codebeamer, Agile Studio, PDC.Prior experience in Pega Mobile or Pega AMP platforms.Knowledge on implementing Pega RPA solutions.Working knowledge in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.Familiar with CRM, web, mobile and legacy business architectures.Strong attention to detail and innovative capabilities.Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) would be an additional benefit.Notes:Position is remote but local candidates or those who reside in the eastern time zone are preferred.
