What You’ll Do

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bellevue, WA. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support our development teams. You will work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and IT operations to automate workflows, enhance system reliability, and ensure seamless delivery of applications in a cloud-based environment. This role will be based in the Bellevue, WA office. Our team follows a hybrid schedule working in-office three days a week and remotely for the rest.

Each Day Can Be Different Here At Nexxen, But Some Of The Things You Can Expect To Be Doing Daily Are:

Infrastructure Automation: Design and implement automated infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to support scalable and reliable systems.CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools to automate code testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.Cloud Management: Manage cloud environments in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure high availability, security, and performance of applications.Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk to proactively identify and resolve system issues.Collaboration and Support: Work closely with development teams to understand project requirements and provide support for build and deployment processes, while promoting best practices in DevOps and agile methodologies.Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security controls within the CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure to comply with industry best practices and regulatory standards.Incident Management: Respond to and resolve production issues, providing root cause analysis and recommendations for improvements.

What Will I Bring?

5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role, with a focus on automation, CI/CD, and cloud environments.2+ years of experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Route 53, ECS, CloudWatch, and AWS Glue to architect and manage scalable cloud.Technical Skills:Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git) and experience with branching strategies.Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, etc.).Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.Knowledge of network and security best practices, including VPC, VPN, and firewall management.

In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role in $135,000-160,000 at the time of posting, with the potential of an incentive or bonus. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
