Your Role:
The Financial Planning and Analysis Director plays a key role in providing financial leadership and support for the Tableware business unit. This position is responsible for overseeing planning and reporting, driving continuous improvement to process and controls, and providing leadership to enhance profitability, and drive insights that empower commercial decisions within a dynamic and matrixed environment. In addition, this position is responsible for building a strong team and providing staff development. You will have the opportunity to:
Lead the planning processes in Budget, Forecasts, and LRP, ensuring accurate and timely integration of sales forecast, pricing, costs, and expenses to meet Corporate/BU deadlines.
Manage reporting packages that provide business performance and variance analysis, identify areas of concern, and provide recommendations on risks and opportunities that will have a financial impact on the business.
Prepare financial review packages for senior management and presentations for Executive Lead Team review meetings.
Continue to develop and optimize financial planning processes, including enhancement to sales forecast and integrated forecasting.
Lead the customer product profitability reviews and provide insights on business dynamics and opportunities.
Support new product development and new distribution opportunities.
Partner with commercial functions and provide financial support and counsel on business opportunities and frame the overall financial picture.
Provide analyses for ad hoc projects that lend insight into key business drivers enabling management to adapt to more appropriate strategic/tactical actions.
Assist in strategic initiatives related to portfolio assessment, manufacturing footprint, and network optimization.

We need you to have:
BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
15+ years of related professional corporate Accounting/Finance experience, preferably in a large manufacturing headquarter environment.
Consumer packaged goods experience.
Prior team management experience combined with a proven track record of developing, coaching, and mentoring staff.
Broad accounting and finance experience with exposure to a wide range of business functions and demonstrated leadership.
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in large, automated financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, Hyperion Planning, and HFM.
Demonstrated expertise with financial modeling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills.
Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
Icing on the cake:
MBA or other advanced degree.
CPA, CMA Certification.
