Job Description
Position Overview
As CIP Program Manager, you will lead a team in managing the NERC cyber security requirements and internal controls associated with physical and electronic cyber security risks, associated with power generation facilities. Based out of our downtown Chicago office, you will utilize your previously demonstrated technical expertise to fulfill the job responsibilities with limited managerial oversight, while collaborating cross-functionally with subject matter experts.
Responsibilities
Independently drive end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of assigned deliverables supporting compliance monitoring and internal controls activities Provide information technology security, networking, and operations proficiency guidance Partner with IT Infrastructure, IT Information, and Corporate Security personnel to ensure security controls are in place to meet NERC CIP Requirements Oversee the maintenance of Invenergy NERC CIP policies and procedures to ensure they support emerging security technologies and new requirements Support the professional development of junior staff Develop and deliver NERC training to internal support groups and external stakeholders Maintain awareness of emerging utility industry and cyber security issues through benchmarking Develop and maintain KPIs that reflect program performance Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Required Skills
Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related discipline with an engineering/power system focus 7+ years of demonstrated independent IT/OT technical acumen application 5+ years of direct program and people development management Critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and solve complex problems with limited managerial oversight. Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive duties Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and Nuance Power PDF Familiarity with firewall, networking, and vulnerability scan technologies Willingness to travel between 10-25%
Preferred Skills:
Advanced Knowledge of NERC rules and framework, highly preferred Desired Certifications: CISSP, CISM, and CISA Advanced organizational, presentation/facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills
