We are known for our strong provider satisfaction and retention rates.Job SummaryJob Summary* Evaluates patient and obtains pertinent information for the diagnosis and treatment of the medical problem.* Orders further testing and refers to other medical providers as necessary for the appropriate medical management of the patient.* Documents appropriately in the EMR and completes all necessary forms and correspondence for proper patient care in a timely manner.* Fosters the development of staff to fulfill the current and future requirements of individuals and the organization.* Provides a safe environment for patients and staff.QualificationsMust have formal NRHS Medical Staff privileges for specialty/area worked; includes age-specific competencyEducationAllopathic (MD) or Osteopathic (DO) Physician; board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineExperienceCompletion of a IM or FM residency programLicensure/CertificationCurrent Oklahoma Medical License and DEA/OBNDD; other required licenses/board certifications pertinent to specialty/area workedQualifications

EducationMD/DO - board certified or board eligible in Family MedicineExperienceCompletion of a Family Medicine fellowship program(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Licensure/CertificationMeet requirements of Norman Regional Medical StaffActive OK license and DEA/OBNDD required for privilegesOther Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesMust have formal NRHS Medical Staff privileges for specialty/area worked
