Sr. Manager, Indirect ProcurementConnecticut (Hybrid)Position Summary:As the Senior Manager of Indirect Procurement, you will play a critical role in driving cost savings, optimizing procurement processes, and managing supplier relationships for indirect goods and services within our global organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals. Your expertise will help us maintain operational efficiency and support our growth initiatives.Responsibilities:Strategic Procurement Planning:Develop and execute the indirect procurement strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives.Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.Supplier Management:Manage end-to-end procurement for indirect categories, including Professional Services, Travel & Entertainment (T&E), Facilities Management, and Agency Fees, ensuring cost-effective sourcing strategies and vendor management across various functionsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring high performance and compliance with contractual obligations.Negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and resolve any issues or disputes.Process Optimization:Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract management.Implement best practices and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with internal stakeholders including finance, operations, and manufacturing to understand needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.Support the development of business cases for procurement decisions and initiatives.Market Analysis and Sourcing:Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and supply market conditions.Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure competitive pricing and optimal supplier performance.Essential Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.Professional certification such as CPSM, CIPS, or PMP is highly desirable.5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.Proven track record of managing indirect procurement categories and delivering significant cost savings.Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent leadership and team management abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.Experience with ERP system such as SAP preferred, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
