We are looking for a Customer Support Administrator to join our growing team!The Customer Support Administrator is responsible for the Monitoring/Emergency Responder Communications Enhancement Systems (ERCS) program by maintaining the database of existing customers and setting up new accounts as well as reading and interpreting daily trouble reports to determine dispatch priority or forward to other departments as necessary by performing the following duties.A flexible, hybrid schedule option is available after successful completion of training. You can expect to work 1-2 days remotely and 3-4 days in the office each week.Hourly pay ranges from $25-28/hour depending on applicable skills and experience.In this role you will:Take customer calls and update customer account informationSet up new customer accounts in various central station software, communicator accounts or other similar programs, prior to technicians arriving on siteMaintain a log of new customer accounts and cancelled accountsEnsure customer accounts are billed properlyComplete all customer requests in a timely mannerContact customer and schedule monitoring techs for monitoring installationsSubmit plans and submittal guides to AHJAdhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations and lawsMaintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendanceWork collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperationRespectfully take direction from managersIdeal Candidate Profile:Strong written and verbal communication skillsMust have strong basic math skills for billing and reportsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailFollow oral and written directionsCommunicate effectively with coworkers, management, and customers, and display excellent interpersonal skills and awareness of controversial and/or sensitive issuesComply with safety requirements of the position and actively promote safe work practicesSelf-motivated and ability to work independentlyRequirements:High School diploma or equivalent1-3 years general administrative experienceKnowing Fire & Life Safety Industry language and terminology a plusKnowledge and ability to understand and operate basic computer functions, operating systems, and software applications such as Windows, Word, Apple IOS, Android, and Outlook. In addition, required to learn and use industry specific devices and software.
