Purpose The NetSuite Developer II is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing NetSuite ERP solutions. This includes NetSuite development of its modules, data schemas, integration, high code solutions, automation, and custom workflows. The NetSuite II developer will be responsible for development, peer review of code, unit testing, QA testing, and code promotion all the way through to productions releases. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain NetSuite scripts (SuiteScript) and workflows to meet business requirements. Customize NetSuite fields, forms, records, saved searches, reports, and dashboards in accordance with Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) practices. Monitor NetSuite performance issues, troubleshoot, and implement solutions. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including business analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment validation. Secure and maintain existing APIs based on guidance provided by peers. Integrate NetSuite with third-party systems using SuiteTalk or RESTful frameworks. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. Work closely medical device manufacturing, finance, and QA to understand their requirements in a fast-paced, agile environment. Administration of users and permissions. Maintain NetSuite licensure commitments, and notify management when exceptions occur Stay updated with NetSuite change control and updates. Maintain a working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 1271, FDA 21 CFR 820, AATB standards, ISO Standards, cGMP/CGTP, other relevant regulations/standards, and internal organizational policies and standard operating procedures. Start job responsibilities punctually and ensure consistent presence throughout the entire shift to complete responsibilities properly, and attend all scheduled meetings and appointments. Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during weekdays or weekends, as necessary, to meet operational needs and ensure business continuity. Work as needed to support NetSuite during outages Perform other duties as assigned. Skills Strong familiarity with agile software development practices and tools. Solution-oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines. Experience with other ERP systems or software development platforms. Familiarity with JSON formats and data exchange mechanisms. Experience with Version Control. Experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) or Automated Configuration tools Understanding of business processes in manufacturing, operations, distribution, finance, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Revenue Recognition, and Inventory Management. Good organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities Team player who is also able to operate independently and handle conflicting priorities. Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and prioritize effectively while delivering high-quality work. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree a plus. Bachelor's degree may be substituted to meet up to 4 years of experience requirements. Master's degree may be substituted to meet up to 6 years of experience requirements. NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer, or SuiteCommerce Developer. 3-5 years' experience NetSuite development. Clearance of favorable background investigation required.
