If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv.Job TitleSoftware Development Engineering - Professional II (Print Monitoring/Reconciliation)What does a successful Software Development Engineer do at Fiserv?The Software Development Engineer supporting the Correspondence and Content Management teams will work to augment the front-line production support team that manages incoming issues/requests from our clients. Additional responsibilities will be to produce print reconciliation reports for one or more clients daily and resolve out of balances within 3 days.What you will do:Learn the various subsystems that make up the Correspondence and Content Management with a focus on operational usage. Also be prepared to learn some of the technical aspects of the system.Respond to incoming system issues & requests from our clients.Communicate directly with clients for things such as information gathering, research & status reporting.Work directly with application development team on issues requiring their involvement.Execute daily check lists of items require manual monitoring.Track incoming issues/requests identifying those which are re-occurring and help drive short-term and long-term solutions to them.Client Reconciliation: Perform reconciliation activities for clients, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of discrepancies.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to financial transactions, data, or accounts.What you will need to have:Education: Bachelor’s or College Degree in Computer Science, Education, Technical, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology.Knowledge of Office products- such as Excel & Word.Proficiency in SQL for querying databases.Familiarity with open systems operating systems.Knowledge of scripting languages, including HTML.Understanding of relational databases.What would be great to have:Exposure to networking technology and cloud technology.Ability to apply multiple technologies to business situations.Identify and apply productivity improvements.Good general communication skills both oral and written.Be willing to maintain strong/positive working relationships with other team members.Be able to work directly with end users researching & helping resolve their issues.Ability to work independently and manage workload based on priority.This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New York or Washington.What you should know about us:Fiserv is a global leader in payments and financial technology with more than 40,000 associates proudly serving clients in more than 100 countries.
