Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Architect with experience in Microservices, DevOps Tools and AWS, developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our Architects have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Lead the design and implementation of scalable microservices architecture.Oversee the integration and deployment processes using Jenkins and GITHUB.Provide expertise in Apigee API Management to ensure robust API solutions.Implement and manage DevOps tools and concepts to streamline development and operations.Ensure security practices are integrated into the DevOps pipeline through DevSecOps.Utilize AWS Platform to build and maintain cloud infrastructure.Manage Docker containers and Container Registry for efficient application deployment.Configure and maintain API Gateway for secure and efficient API traffic management.Set up and manage container environments to support application scalability and reliability.Drive automation initiatives to enhance development and operational efficiency.Implement AWS DevOps practices to optimize cloud resource management.Use Terraform for infrastructure as code to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align architecture with business goals.Mentor and guide junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning.Ensure all solutions are aligned with industry best practices and company standards.Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security and operational guidelines.Provide technical leadership and direction in the Cards & Payments domain, if applicable.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (15+ years of experience).Possess a deep understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation.Demonstrate expertise in Jenkins and GITHUB for CI/CD processes.Have extensive experience with Apigee API Management.Show proficiency in various DevOps tools and concepts.Exhibit strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices.Have hands-on experience with AWS Platform.Be proficient in Docker and Container Registry management.Understand API Gateway configuration and management.Have experience in setting up and managing container environments.Demonstrate strong automation skills using various tools.Show expertise in AWS DevOps practices.Be proficient in using Terraform for infrastructure as code.Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus.Salary and Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $102K - $162,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.Benefits:
