Identify and uphold Full stack engineering best practicesCollaborate with designers & product managers to iterate on the design & implementation of our productDesign and create services that grow with the needs of the companyMonitor performance, watch for traffic drops related to usability problems & rectify the issuesReview app and feature code, and plan future API upgrades with the development teamAssist in the development of applications & features that will be put on the website, mobile app, and external client appsStay up-to-date on emerging technologiesWork with modern libraries and toolingStrong analytical problem solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter with strong initiative, quality deliverable and ability to work under pressureBusiness-minded approach to time, costs, and deadlinesDemonstrated ability to work well within a team environmentAbout You
3+ years of experience developing large scale web applications using GO and Javascript/ReactExperience with modern libraries and toolingSignificant GO and Javascript programming skills and data structuresSignificant Microservices architecture and development skillsSignificant knowledge of SQL Database and NoSQL Databases (Oracle, Postgres, Cassandra)Significant experience in Messaging architectures & development- Kafka or equivalentProven Experience in building RESTful APIs and a deep understanding of REST principlesProven Experience working with Docker or similar technologies, GIT, CI/CD and writing unit/integration testsStrong analytical problem solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter with strong initiative, quality deliverable and ability to work under pressureBusiness-minded approach to time, costs, and deadlinesDemonstrated ability to work well within a team environmentBonus Points
Proven Experience Cloud Platforms like Azure or Pivotal Cloud FoundryExperience in programming using JavaScript, Node and React ecosystem is a plus pointFamiliarity with developing e-commerce application modules such as Catalog setup and Search (Solr, ElasticSearch etc.)Proven Experience with Continuous integration, Continuous delivery and Continuous deploymentExperience architecting and building high volume, fault-tolerant, highly available, and globally distributed systems in a cloud-native environmentExperience with Agile development methodologiesFamiliarity with A/B testing, monitoring, and alertingEnergetic, flexible, collaborative, team player and good interpersonal skillsA passion for keeping up-to-date with the latest cloud trends and technologiesAbout Us
