FULLY REMOTE Duration : 6-month contract Pay Rate: $70-80/h MUST HAVES: 5+ years of Angular 18/19 3+ years of Node.JS 3+ years of Ruby on Rails 3+ years of Typescript Bachelor's Degree PLUSSES: About the Role: Insight Global is looking for a REMOTE Full-stack Software Engineer to support one of our largest financial services clients in the Midwest. This individual will be working heavily with Angular, Node.JS, Typescript and Ruby to design algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems. This person will have to be strong in both front-end and back-end technologies. This individual will be testing and deploying programs and applications. This is a 6-month contract where you’ll work with our design, product, and engineering teams to build features for both our web and cross platform apps. This person will work with React and Angular on the front-end. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain complex web applications using Java, Angular, Ruby on Rails, React and AWS ensuring code quality, scalability, security, and performance. • Collaborate with product owners, user experience designers, and other team members contributing to the product development process, actively participating in discussions, proposing technical solutions, and translating them into working software. • Create clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards. • Write automated tests and conduct thorough testing to deliver high-quality, potentially shippable software every sprint. • Continuously enhance and optimize application performance, security, and scalability. • Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain applications in production environments. • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve development processes and skills.
