Rooted in our core values—Focus on the Customer, Ownership & Accountability, Respectfully & Effectively Communicate, and Motivate & Develop People—we foster an environment where diverse perspectives are not only welcomed but celebrated.Purpose:Define system test strategies that will help accelerate product development and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software validation, ensuring comprehensive coverage of product requirements and specifications.Collaborate closely with software developers and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software releases.Conduct a thorough analysis of software performance, reliability, and functionality through various testing methods such as functional testing, regression testing, stress testing, and performance testing.Be seen as a deep technical resource for evaluating the impact of changes to the product and provide critical input to new feature development and design from the SQA perspective.Build test suites and test environments, perform manual testing, run regression tests, and develop new feature tests. Document test procedures, results, and findings in clear and concise reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.Support global application team and development team to test customer workflows by leading system setup, performing calibrations, and documenting learnings.Skills / Experience:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.5+ years of proven experience in Software, testing, and quality assurance, preferably in semiconductor equipment area or embedded systems.Strong understanding of software development processes, including embedded systems design, and bug-finding techniques.Hands-on experience with software testing tools and methodologies, such as unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in unit test development and application testing, such as Matlab, and Python.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.The pay range for this role in Beaverton, OR is between $99,600 and $130,752. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands.
