Responsible for assuring the quality of our software products throughout the entire software development process. This includes:
Testing, both manual and automatic, of a variety of software products to verify our software meets the quality standards as expected by our customers.
Review user stories and technical specifications and work with R&D engineers and product marketing to create test plans.
Strive to continuously Improve testing methodology and tools.
Testing of software with interconnected hardware products.
Reporting, documenting and organizing of issues found within the software.
Documentation of testing procedures and how they are applied to our software and hardware.
Contribute to the release process including the documentation, maintenance and distribution of release notes and instructions.
Collaboration with software engineering teams, product marketing & sales, application engineers and customers to determine problems with function and workflow.
Third-line support for customers: bug reporting and troubleshooting in collaboration with Application and Software Engineers.
Responsible for product alpha & beta test programs including working directly with customers.
Participation in agile/scrum teams while providing feedback on software design and scheduling.
Document usage and contribute to the knowledge database.
Help in creating, implementing, executing, and guarding optimized processes, policies, and procedures
Have strong conviction that software quality is of utmost importance.
Qualifications and professional knowledge
Knowledge of MS Windows operating system and Windows desktop applications. Apple Mac OS and application knowledge preferred.
General interest in IT, Software and Software Engineering.
Knowledge of color science, color quality, and color formulation preferred.
Knowledge of software testing theory, application and tools.
Experience with test automation and automation tools (e.g. TestComplete)
Experience with Jira for issue/bug tracking and project management.
Experience participating in agile/scrum teams

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $78,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
