TEAM is also recognized as a winner of the San Diego Top Workplace award in 2022 and 2023.Role Summary:TEAM is looking for an Operations Chief of Staff who will be responsible for improving operational processes across a variety of client-facing functions, including Payroll, Client Service, and Employee Relations. You will report directly to the COO and work closely with the Director of Client Operations, CCO, and VP of Private Family Services to advance high-impact initiatives.What you’ll do:Gain a deep understanding of our client-facing functions and how they operate on a day to day basis - you should learn their processes such that you could fill in if somebody is out of officeIdentify opportunities to improve operational processes, drive efficiency, and improve client-service across client-facing functionsBuild standardDevelop implementation plans for process improvements, including timelines, training plans, and any associated documentation needed for change managementFacilitate training sessions to train team members on the process changesPartner with our technical team to build reporting mechanisms to monitor the process changes to ensure new process is being followedPartner with our Product team to build technological solutions when necessaryRequirementsWhat you’ll need to know/have:Extremely high accountability, organization, and project management skillsAbility to learn quickly on the job; this is a role that will touch many teams and we expect that you’ll pick things up quicklyAnalytical orientation and experience analyzing data to solve problemsExperience delivering fanatical customer service and ability to interface with top-level executives at banks and financial services institutionsOperational focus; eye for process improvement and ability to run through walls to get things doneStrong interpersonal skills; ability to quickly build trusted relationships within the team and senior stakeholdersBachelor’s degree with strong academic performance and demonstrated leadership2+ years of experience in consulting, finance, project management, operations management, or a similar roleBenefitsCompany-sponsored medical, dental and vision plan for employees and their dependents, 401(k) with employer match, wellness program, learning development program, life insurance, long-term disability coverage, charitable contribution matching, volunteer time off and employee assistance program. The California salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to the applicant’s skills, work experience, knowledge, abilities, education, etc.
