As a Data Analyst at AccumTech, you will play a pivotal role in proactively enhancing the processes that drive our sophisticated healthcare data integration system. Working directly with customers and partners, you will become a subject matter expert on their workflows and challenges, analyzing existing processes for gaps and opportunities to improve efficiencies and prevent issues before they arise. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who excels at not only identifying potential issues but also devising solutions to prevent them from recurring.
Your work will go beyond troubleshooting—you will design and recommend enhancements to our data processes, championing continuous improvement to optimize system operations and customer satisfaction. You’ll also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, project management, and operations, to implement lasting improvements to our data processing systems.
Responsibilities:Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements, data needs, and operational capabilities.Proactively analyze and assess data processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, with a focus on prevention.Partner with team members to design and implement preventative solutions that optimize system stability and quality.Perform in-depth analysis on data files of varying formats and research ad hoc data as it pertains to customer and system needs.Collaborate with internal teams to design, document, and test software enhancements and process improvements.Create and maintain system guidelines, manuals, and documentation for seamless knowledge transfer across teams.Share insights and proactive recommendations with internal stakeholders to drive continual system improvement and quality.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.2+ years of experience in an analyst role, ideally within IT or data-driven environments.Proven ability to analyze complex processes and identify improvement opportunities.Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated focus on issue prevention.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to adapt quickly to new software and evolving business processes.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive, growth-oriented approach.ABOUT ACCUMTECHAccumTech is a small, but growing, software service company that has annually been voted one of Crain’s Detroit Business Coolest Places to Work by our employees since 2019.
