Delinea is creating awesome software that's used by thousands of IT professionals all over the globe. This is a QA Software Engineer position on our Governance team. This team develops both front-end and back-end services that provide Access Control and Governance capabilities.This is a hybrid position located in either the Des Moines, Iowa or Colorado Springs, Colorado areas: working 2 – 3 days per week in office and the remainder can be remote/telecommute based out of your home office. Reports to Manager, Software Quality.What You’ll Do:
Work as a member of a cross functional agile team to ensure that quality is a first class focus during every delivery cycleDesign, develop and support automated testing suitesMentor team members on test automationProactively bring issues and problems to the attention of the teamBe organized, detail oriented and self-motivatedWork closely with software engineers and product owners to ensure that all scenarios for a given feature set are properly defined and well understoodCapture defects and communicate the criticality of each identified issue with the team and managementHave a strong desire to automate all repetitive and repeatable testing activitiesWhat You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in working in technology based organizations.Experience in API and UI QA automation tooling, such as Postman and PlaywrightKnowledge of QA processes and their application in an agile delivery environmentExperience implementing, executing, and monitoring automated test suitesProficient with issue tracking tools, such as Jira or Azure DevOpsWorking knowledge of relational databases, such as Microsoft SQLExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a globally-distributed team.Passionate about providing high-quality solutions to our customers, on-time, and on-budget.Familiarity with web-based security principles and best practices.Bonus if You Have:
Experience with performance testingExperience with security testing tools such as Snyk or ZAPExperience with multiple programming languages such as JavaScript, typescript, C#Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure DevOps pipelines is a plusExperience with Agile software development methodologiesExperience with cloud-based technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS)Experience with DevOps practices (e.g. continuous integration, continuous deployment)Delinea Culture & Benefits:
