This is a Software Engineering Manager position to lead our Assure sprint team. This team develops both front-end and back-end services that provide Access Control and Governance capabilities. This can be a remote/telecommute position based out of your home office. Reports to the SVP, Engineering.What You’ll Do:

Manage a Delinea Sprint team – both the people and the projects that they work on.Contribute technically to the Sprint team’s projects as a Senior engineer through code, code review, and architecture as needed.Contribute to the design and implementation of full-stack solutions (.NET REST APIs and Angular User Interfaces) for Access Control functionality within the large-scale, cloud-native Assure platform.This is a technical manager position that includes people management, project management, and software development skills.Using Scrum processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, UX, Dev) to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and contribute to architectural decisions.Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to our core technologies.Provide support to escalated customer support for existing customers.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.2+ years of experience running an Agile Sprint team or very strong technical and personal skills.10+ years of experience in cloud-native, enterprise full-stack application development, specifically in .NET.Experience developing SaaS applications on a microservices architecture that integrate with a wide variety of other SaaS vendors and enterprise systems.Experience developing RESTful APIs.Strong design skills and full software development lifecycle experience required.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a globally-distributed team.Passionate about writing quality code and constantly honing your development skills.Experience with large codebases and unit testing - mock frameworks, automation testing, database testing, etc.Familiarity with web-based security principles and best practices.Strong understanding of object-oriented principles.Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure DevOps pipelines is a plus.Experience with YAML is a plus.Bonus if You Have:

Ability to quickly read and understand both new and existing code.Ability to look at the big picture, come up with great new ideas and execute those ideas by writing code to make it happen.Experience with Agile software development methodologies.Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS).Experience with DevOps practices (e.g. continuous integration, continuous deployment).Why work at Delinea?
