Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is actively seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee and enhance the IT infrastructure for our client, a leading law firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, purchase, installation, and day-to-day maintenance of all computer systems, ensuring secure and efficient operations. This position is ON-SITE at the client's office in Boca Raton, FL. Key Responsibilities: - Perform regular checks on network and data security to ensure integrity. - Identify and act on opportunities to enhance and upgrade software and systems. - Develop and enforce IT policies and best practice guides to align with organizational goals. - Conduct system backups and regular audits to maintain optimal performance. - Generate and present operational system reports to management. - Oversee and establish timelines for key IT projects, including updates, upgrades, migrations, and planned outages. - Manage and report on the allocation and utilization of the IT budget. - Administer user account management in O365, ensuring robust system security protocols. - Provide strategic direction and leadership for the IT team. - Identify training needs and create opportunities for team development and skills advancement. - Exhibit strong communication skills, including writing, speaking, and active listening. - Deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate interpersonal skills. - Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field (B.S.) or equivalent experience. - 4-6 years of IT experience within a law firm environment. - Strong knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Exchange/Active Directory, security, network and system administration, databases, and data storage systems. - Proven experience with operating systems and understanding hardware/software interoperability. - Demonstrated commitment to excellence and high standards. - Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workflows. - Capability to work independently and collaboratively within various teams and committees. - Fundamental understanding of engineering/technical principles, theories, and practices within the IT specialization area.
