Mission:
Responsible for maintaining the Innovation Center, setting up trial cells and equipment, and conducting testing
Job Responsibilities:
Perform setup and teardown of robotic cells for adhesive dispensing, mechanical joining, and integrated vision lab trialsConducting testing in the Innovation Center and supporting personnel in the IC with their testing/trialsIdentify equipment needed for trials and coordinate with Inventory Specialist to retrieve for trial assemblySupport Inventory Specialist in establishing an equipment inventory systemAssemble part fixtures used for in-house trials and prototype buildsPrepare post-trial equipment for shipment to the intercompany repair centerDisassembly and re-assembly of dispensing equipment (training provided)Prepare and section metal coupons for mechanical joining cross-sectional analysisHelp ensure a clean working environment in the ICWiring and routing cables and hoses for equipmentEducation and Experience:
Agile mindset, ability to identify problems, find a solution, and executeAbility to troubleshoot capital equipment from a mechanical and electrical perspectiveExperience with machine shop/power tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, Bridgeport)The assisted heavy lifting of 50lbs or less is requiredElectrician certification and electrical experience preferredBackground in the assembly of adhesive dispensing equipment would be a plusWhat can you expect from us?
