You will work with a team of experienced developers to drive a major transformation within our organization, delivering robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans to achieve financial well-being.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologiesWork with a team of developers experienced in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full stack systemsUtilize programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, as well as Cloud-based data warehousing servicesStay up-to-date with tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and mentor other engineersCollaborate with digital product managers to deliver powerful cloud-based solutionsPerform unit tests and code reviews to ensure high-quality, optimized codeBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeAt least 3 years of application development experience (internship experience does not apply)At least 1 year of experience in big data technologiesPreferred Qualifications:5+ years of application development experience including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java2+ years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)3+ years experience with Distributed data/computing tools such as MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL2+ years working on real-time data and streaming applications2+ years of experience with NoSQL implementation (Mongo, Cassandra)2+ years of data warehousing experience (Redshift or Snowflake)3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting2+ years of experience with Agile engineering practices
