is seeking a Vice President, Business Operations & Strategy with leadership abilities in the following areas:Operations Management
of the business, including overseeing day-to-day operations, implementation and optimization of operational processes and systems, ensuring efficient resource allocation and utilization and establishing operational excellence across Rancho.Strategic Planning and Execution
through collaboration with the executive team to develop and implement business strategies, identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities, and ensuring operational activities align with Rancho's overall vision and goalsPerformance Monitoring and Reporting
for Rancho's service delivery organization, as well as any other operational or strategic initiatives. This includes establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing and optimizing necessary tools and analytics, preparing and presenting regular performance reports to the executive teams, and addressing improvement requirementsProcess Improvement
through implementation and optimization of continuous improvement initiatives, identification and resolution of operational bottlenecks, and driving efficiency and productivityManagement of M&A and Business Integration
activities by conducting operational assessment of potential M&A targets, including due diligence, and leading integration of acquisitions to ensure success. Responsible for establishing integration objectives and targets in collaboration with the stakeholders, driving integration activities, resolving obstacles and reporting on progress and outcomeCross-functional Collaboration
with all other departments within Rancho to drive coordination and collaboration between the teams across all core company activitiesCustomer Satisfaction
by ensuring high-quality service delivery, addressing and resolving escalated client issuesProblem-Solving
able to identify and resolve problems quickly and effectively; skilful in managing ambiguous or difficult situations and "putting out fires"Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a life sciences discipline; MBA or equivalent experience highly preferred, with 15 year of experience in operation and/or strategy, in a services-based business. In addition to experience in the life sciences or biotechnology sectors.
Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams and peers, with or without formal authority. Experience managing direct reports and reporting to C-level executives preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as ability to influence others through clear articulation of Rancho's vision, goals and strategies. Strong presentation skills and ability to foster collaboration across different teams required
Prior experience with mergers and acquisitions and/or integrations strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work in a rapidly changing global environment and strong understanding of culturally diverse environments preferred
