We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Data Warehousing Concepts, Scheduling Basics, ETL, SQL, Data Integration, Ab Initio GDE, Ab Initio Conduct It, Ab Initio Co-operating System, and Unix Shell Scripting. Experience in the Cards and Payments domain is mandatory. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.Responsibilities
Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs.Design and implement ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.Utilize SQL to query, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.Employ Ab Initio GDE and Conduct It to design and execute complex data workflows.Operate within the Ab Initio Co-operating System to manage and optimize data processing tasks.Create and maintain Unix Shell Scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements.Provide technical expertise in the Cards and Payments domain to ensure compliance and efficiency.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and ETL processes.Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure data accuracy and reliability.Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive records of all development activities.Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.Qualifications
Possess a strong understanding of Data Warehousing Concepts and Scheduling Basics.Demonstrate proficiency in ETL processes and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.Have hands-on experience with Ab Initio GDE, Conduct It, and Co-operating System.Show expertise in Unix Shell Scripting for task automation.Exhibit in-depth knowledge of the Cards and Payments domain.Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Adapt to a hybrid work model and manage time efficiently.Stay committed to continuous learning and professional development.Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve project goals.Ensure high-quality deliverables through rigorous testing and validation.Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.Uphold the company's values and contribute to a positive work culture.Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.Benefits:
