Manager, HR Operations and Systems

As the Manager, HR Operations and Systems, you will be the go-to expert for supporting and evolving our HR processes and technology, making our teams work smarter and more efficiently. Reporting to the SVP, Human Resources, you will lead HRIS management and data integrity efforts while optimizing HR operations that drive our people strategy and impact our entire organization. This role is vital to ensuring seamless workflows, compliance, and data-driven decision-making, helping us scale our HR operations efficiently as we grow.

Responsibilities

    • Have a good understanding of end-to-end HR process and data from recruiting, onboarding, employee life cycle to payroll.
    • Responsible for data integrity across all HR systems in our environment - BambooHR (HRIS), Lever (ATS), and Navex (LMS).
    • Manage and make recommendations to improve end-to-end HR processes and data in recruiting, onboarding, and employee life cycle.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert on Amyris processes and policies
    • Lead updates/revisions of the Employee Handbook on an annual basis
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and data privacy regulations
    • Manage interfaces with 3rd party vendors
    • Make recommendations on improving data quality utilizing process and technology.
    • Drive strong data and process governance and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility.
    • Develop technical expertise needed to support existing and future systems and integrations.
    • Develop project plan, define deliverables and manage plan to completion.
    • Manage system access and configure systems to support on-going business needs.
    • Prepare systems to support compensation cycles and benefits open enrollment.
    • Support audit requests and ensure we are in compliance with audit requirements.
    • Document and train users on new functionality and system enhancements.
    • Develop HR analytics and reporting to support effective decision-making process.
    • Manage issues to resolution with vendors and provide timely communications to impacted users.
    • Partner closely with HR team and business partners in program delivery and other projects as assigned.
    • Prepare weekly, quarterly & annual reporting for the HR Executive and Business Leaders.
    • Prepare payroll files and ensure accuracy.
    • Annual Compliance Reporting
    • Develop custom reports as needed, to meet the needs of the business.
    • Prepare and maintain HRIS process flows, procedures and job aids as needed.
    • Develop project plan, define deliverables and manage plan to completion.
    • All other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
    • 5+ years of professional experience with 3+ years progressive experience in HR, with significant focus in HR Operations and HRIS management

    • Proficient in systems configuration, integration tools, process mapping, project management tools.
    • Ability to influence, engage, and partner closely with appropriate business partners across all levels of the organization.

Amyris is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $105,500 to $150,500. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis, and will vary based on the candidate's skills, depth of experience and specific work location.
