We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor- Mold Shop to join our dynamic team and help drive our production process to new levels of efficiency and quality.SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe Production Supervisor will provide collaborative hands-on supervision and direction to employees to ensure successful completion of assigned duties and tasks while adhering to company safety protocol. They are responsible for implementing a driven, team-oriented culture, which embraces continuous improvements and ensures across the board operational and process excellence in all areas of the department.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThis in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying the position.• Supervise and manage activities directly related to daily business and department needs• Develop, analyze, and deliver simple to complex information to direct reports• Effectively communicate daily schedules, goals, quality issues and concerns between shifts to ensure customer expectations are met• Provide mentoring, leadership, and direction to employees• Ensure individuals receive job-specific training and make sure personnel are compliant with all applicable training requirements• Assign work assignments based on daily department needs, ensure quality products are produced and successfully achieve department metrics• Assisting management in establishing and achieving program goals and objectives for the department including Continuous Improvement projects• Identify and elevate issues to management• Facilitate assessment of team’s knowledge, skill, and ability for accomplishing projects and tasks• Keep work area clean and organized utilizing (5S) and take proper care of all equipment and facilities• Work with team members and direct employees to maximize productivity and efficiency• Any additional duties as reasonably assigned by managementREQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered.• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred; or a combination of training and 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.• 3+ years leadership or supervisory experience in a shop environment• Experience working in a manufacturing environment• This position must meet Export Control Compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22.C.F.R. is requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment• Strong computer skills• Has confidence in leading processes, projects and looks for opportunities• Ability to work with management team to help drive performance of locationSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

Most travel is primarily local during the business day. Some projects may require travel out of the area and overnight stays.WORKING CONDITIONS
